Karen Woodward is Conversify’s Social Media Specialist and Production Manager. She manages Social Media sites, runs social ad campaigns, creates Social Media calendars, writes blog posts, and works on strategy. Karen comes to social media by way of the entertainment industry, where she worked for over ten years in development, production, and marketing.
On a break from the entertainment world, Karen received a master’s degree in Media Studies from Syracuse University where she wrote her thesis on the creation of celebrity and fan communities. While in school, she fell into writing professionally about television and new media, and managed a website geared to young Hollywood. She returned to Los Angeles, where she remains focused on new media/Social Media and the surrounding culture.
